OVERVIEW ON THE FUTURE BUILDING OF EL BETHESDA TABERNACLE CHRUCH
Ten minutes was enough for Brother Jonas Zanga to present to the congregation the proposed interior architecture of the future building of El Bethesda Tabernacle in Parow as designed by the architect. The tabernacle will be divided into three floors:
1.The ground floor: which will be the base of the church and will be comprised of two main entrances from the south side and the small entrance from the north side which will be mostly used by the church pastor, a platform where the pulpit and musical instruments will be placed as well as a baptistery underneath, a nursery, a refuge storeroom and the main platform with more than 836 seats.
2. The first floor: will have an amphitheatre form with more than 300 seats and will be composed of offices of the pastor, trustees plus treasurers and deacons, two rest rooms (male and female), one place for technicians / videos / screens and server space
3.The second floor: will have the same form as the first, with more than 350 seats and will include two Sunday school classes, a large meeting room, a room for the house gifts, two guest rooms with bathroom complete, a caretaker's room and a main store.
In his conclusion, brother Jonas stated that we could have opted to build more than 5 storeys, but the financial constraints will not allow to satisfy the construction and regulation requirements.
To close with this presentation, the pastor thanked the congregation for the effort they had made in contributing to the purchase of the property in such a short time. He also expressed his joy for this great achievement and offered a bouquet of flowers to the whole congregation.
