#NEWS ECODIM SUNDAY 27 AUGUST 2017. REPORT OF THE SUNDAY SCHOOL CHILDREN. EL-BETHESDA

Putting it into practice Proverb 22:6 which states:<< Train up a child in the way he should go; And when he is old he will not depart from it>>. The El-Bethesda tabernacle church organizes every Sunday from 9:00am to 9h45am , a service specially dedicated to children from 5 to 15 years, called “Sunday School” Ecodim by the short form. This is one of the offices in the church.

It is subdivided into two classes: The class of teenagers, made up of children aged 10 to 15 years, and the class of little ones, consisting of children aged 5 to 9 years.

For this Sunday, 27th August, the 1st class had as Lecturer, Brother Emile Mitewu. This latter has taught the children about a topic that he titled "the black dog and the white dog". He had furthermore read two books in the bible, Romans 7: 14-19 and Galatians 5: 19-25.

Through this topic, Brother Emile wanted to show the kids the two constant fights that we find within the human being which are: the desires of the flesh and those of the mind. He said that every time God seeks to lead a man, the latter always gives excuses so as to be let lonely.

And for the second class, the teacher was sister Ndongala. She read the scriptures on the book of Proverbs 28: 6 and Genesis 50: 11-12. She then entertained the children about the story of two boys who went to the village... we can say that again, a very edifying story for the children.

Overall, we noted the presence of the 99 children who took part in the Sunday school this Sunday morning, and only 32 among them were able to bring their bibles. God bless all the children.
